Dr. Mike Mah was born and raised in Red Deer, where his family has deep roots in the community. He is the third generation of the Mah family to call Red Deer home, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, who settled here more than 80 years ago.
Growing up, Dr. Mah spent much of his time at his family’s business, Wei’s Western Wear, helping out after school and learning firsthand the importance of hard work, community, and building lasting relationships. Those early lessons continue to shape the way he practices dentistry today. He brings that same desire to have a lasting positive impact in his community and building genuine relationships to his family of patients at Blackfalds Dental Centre.
Dr. Mah completed his formal education at the University of Alberta, the University of British Columbia, and Harvard University. He remains deeply committed to continuing education and advancing his skills across a broad range of dental disciplines, with particular interests in oral surgery, sedation dentistry, orthodontics, and dental implants. It is in dental implants where he is a lecturer and educator, sharing his experience and training other dentists in advanced dental techniques and procedures.
